Hill Farms is a 4th-generation family farm in the scenic Mahoning Valley (Lehigh Valley area), growing quality Christmas trees since 1938. We're located just 30-45 minutes north of the Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton area. We offer a true mountain farm experience with fresh trees, friendly service and the Primitive Pinecone Gifts & Greenery Shop. Come walk our beautiful fields, select your perfect tree and make Hill Farms part of your holiday traditions.

We’re nestled among rolling hillsides in the Mahoning Valley, yet easy to reach from the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, Poconos and beyond. Upon arrival at our farm, you’ll find ample parking options.
Directions from Major AreasFrom Philadelphia, Scranton, or Allentown via PA Turnpike (Rt. 476): Take the turnpike to Exit 74 (Mahoning Valley Interchange). Follow signs for Rt. 209 toward Lehighton. Continue on 209 to the first traffic light at the Thomas McCall Bridge. Cross the bridge, veer left onto Rt. 443. Go about 3 miles on Rt. 443 through five traffic lights. Look for the Mahoning Valley Farmers Market & Speedway on the right (prominent landmark at the turn). Right before the Speedway, turn left onto Gilberts Hill Rd. We're 1.5 miles up Gilberts Hill Rd on the right. Turn up the drive and follow signs to the parking lot.
From Allentown, Bethlehem, or Easton: Take Rt. 145 North to Rt. 248. Follow Rt. 248 to Lehighton. At the Rt. 248 and Rt. 209 intersection, turn left onto Thomas McCall Bridge. Then follow the directions above from the bridge onward.
From Rt. 309: Take Rt. 443 east for about 15 miles. Look for the Mahoning Valley Farmers Market & Speedway on the left. Turn right onto Gilberts Hill Rd (immediately after the Speedway). We're 1.5 miles up on the right.
We typically open the day after Thanksgiving (late November) and remain open through mid December.

- Midweek (weekdays): 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Midweek visits are quieter and more relaxed. Exact 2026 dates will be posted on our homepage and social media closer to the season. Please check back for updates!
What to Expect During Your Visit- Choose & Cut is our specialty — walk the fields, select your perfect tree and cut it yourself using our provided saws.
- For those unable or unwilling to walk our fields, we have a very nice selection of pre-cut trees available in the Quonset hut.
- Free use of saws, measuring sticks and tree carts
- Tree Trolley ride to taller trees in select patches
- On-site tree shaking, baling and stand drilling
- Port-a-pots available
- Family-friendly atmosphere — well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash (please clean up after them).
- Primitive Pinecone Gift & Greenery Shop open during season (custom wreaths, ornaments, holiday decor and more).
